Does an induction range need the same CFM as gas?

While induction creates less ambient heat, it produces significant "heavy steam" and grease during searing. We recommend a minimum of 600 CFM for a 36" induction cooktop to ensure moisture doesn't condense on the underside of upper cabinetry.

Critical 2-3" internal air gaps below the cooktop to allow cooling fans to dissipate electromagnetic heat.
