Pro-Range Clearances
How does a professional range (Wolf/BlueStar) affect cabinet design?
Thermal Safety & Fire Coding
High-BTU ranges generate intense radiant heat. Flanking gable panels must use heat-shielded substrates or physical air gaps to prevent finish failure and wood movement. We recommend a 3–6" stone 'landing' buffer on both sides of 48" or 60" ranges.
Central Alberta safety specs requiring zero-clearance insulation and specific BTU-rated buffers for professional gas ranges.
